ANCHURLER – Anchor Setting Device



Never Back Down Again !  No more dragging a ball of eelgrass backwards through the anchorage while your Mojito melts. With the new Anchurler anchor setting system, setting your anchor exactly where you want it is as easy as pushing two buttons.  First, position your vessel exactly where you wish to lie at anchor, with the bow pointing upwind.  Next, set the Scope dial to match the depth below your vessel, and then push the Safety button and the Hurl button simultaneously.  The pneumatic ram launches your anchor in a graceful arc out to desired location, and the anchor sets itself – automatically!  The first available model of the Anchurler will launch a 30# anchor and 100’ of 3/8 chain.  Testing of a 50# model is underway and will be available in time for the Holiday season.  The Anchurler is manufactured by WHAT Company, has a MSRP of $1499, and is available from Friday Harbor Marine, Friday Harbor, WA, www.fridayharbormarine.com,  360-378-6202.
