Friday Harbor Marine is pleased to present a new historical cruise of Friday Harbor.  This one-hour tour, developed with support from the San Historical Society, tells the story of Friday Harbor from the perspective of the waterfront – which for more than 130 years has served as the lifeblood to our industrious, water-bound community.

Guests recieve a 16-page souvenir booklet that illustrates, through photographs, the evolution of Friday Harbor from the watering hole that it started as, to the tourist destination that it is today.
The tour takes place in our quiet, comfortable, and ‘green’ electric Duffy boats. Relaxing in plush seats, guests stay cool and shaded on hot sunny days, while staying warm and dry during inclement weather. In fact, while many tourist activities in town depend on nice weather, the Historical Harbor Cruise – complete with hot tea and cookies – is a great way to spend a rainy day!

This affordable tour, priced at $35/person, is a great value and an ideal activity for visitors that are less able to partake in the islands’ more physical attractions.
